How to Register for Classes

Important Dates

Summer 2026 (begins June 1) | Fall 2026 Semester (Session 1 begins August 15 | Session 2 begins October 21)

• Continuing Students: Summer and Fall 2026 registration will open on April 2, 2026 (Veterans Priority is April 1, 2026). 
• New Students: Summer and Fall 2026 registration starts April 20, 2026 
• Certificate Students and Nursing Assistant:  Summer and Fall 2026 registration starts April 2, 2026
• Individual Courses:  Summer and Fall 2026 registration starts April 30, 2026 (Veterans Priority is April 29, 2026)

When do classes start?

NWTC offers three semesters: Fall, Spring, and Summer. Each of the Fall and Spring semesters consists of two sessions:

Fall Session 1: Typically starts in mid-August

Fall Session 2: Typically starts in mid-October

Spring Session 1: Typically starts in mid-January

Spring Session 2: Typically starts in mid-March

Summer: Typically starts in early June

Class Cost & Tuition Due Dates

Tuition is due by the first day of each session. If you register after a session has started, payment is required within 10 days of your registration date.
