Founded in 1912, Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (NWTC) is a nationally-recognized, two-year public college, serving more than 21,100 individuals annually.

We’re the leading provider of educational and training excellence in Northeast Wisconsin, enriching lives and strengthening communities.

What We Value

Innovation

Recently launched at NWTC:

  • Enhanced university transfer options through the new Academic, Career, and Transfer Center – showcasing strong partners, like UW-Green Bay, and new partners such as UW-Platteville for engineering.
  • New Dental Extended Reality Lab – preparing students for real-world care with augmented reality, virtual reality, and other simulation technologies.
  • Six new academic colleges, resulting from a yearlong restructuring of the Academic Affairs and Workforce Development Division – creating stronger pathways into and out of the College, ensuring post-graduate success, and fostering vibrant communities.

Impact

At NWTC, we believe education changes lives and strengthens communities. We ensure our students get engaging, hands-on learning experiences not only because it helps students graduate or transfer, but it’s also how we prepare students to pursue careers and build a life right here in Northeast Wisconsin. NWTC graduates are the workforce that fuels our businesses and local economy.

Every Eagle’s path to graduation includes:

Communication

Collaboration

Critical thinking

On the path to graduation, every NWTC student develops the ability to contribute to any organization, industry, and community through goals we call “Institutional Learning Outcomes.”
