This needs to be researched and determine what is causing the high bounce rate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My recommendations are as followed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Add a clearer next step<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>International students often feel uncertainty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Add a clear call to action, such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cSee Tuition &amp; Visa Requirements\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cNext Steps for International Students\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Place CTAs above the fold and after key sections. This improves meaningful engagement, not just bounce rate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Improve scanability &amp; clarity<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Common bounce drivers on these pages:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Dense text blocks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Legal\/visa language up front<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Unclear eligibility requirements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Recommendations:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Add a \u201cQuick Start\u201d section:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Who can apply<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Required documents<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Deadlines<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Instead of using dense text blocks, try adding bullet points and accordions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fun fact: Webpage visitors decide in 5\u20138 seconds if the page is \u201cfor them.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In the last 28 days the International Students page had a bounce rate of 51.3%.
